The small rooms can be overwhelming and uncomfortable but, fortunately, we can use some design concepts to fool the eye and make them appear larger.
1. Use light colors: light-colored walls are more reflective, which helps maximize the effect created by natural light. However, this does not imply that the walls have to be white, there is a whole range of paints in bright colors.
After choosing the color of the walls, you have to choose colors and trim cuts. Should choose the same tone for the walls or a slightly lighter color. Colored objects appear closer, while the dark seem more distant. When painting the trim a lighter color, the wall appears to be farther away, making the room look larger.

1. Paint the stairs: the stairs are a good place to bring a touch of color. You can paint only a kind of broker in the middle, or risk really and paint each step in a different tone, the key is to first apply a primer and then three layers.
2. Put flowers: the fastest of the arrangements are the flowers. A handful of fresh flowers provide an instantaneous change, but for a lasting effect, it is best to fill a container with flowering bulbs of hyacinths and daffodils, not only look fantastic, but they smell wonderful and are cheap (see how to put flowers and flower arrangements).
